Mungo Park - Chairman

Mungo Park, Chairman of Innovator Capital, has been an investment banker, on both sides of the Atlantic, for 30 years focussing exclusively on emerging technologies. He was previously at Cowen & Co., Alex. Brown and Head of Corporate Finance at Nomura International.

Katsuhiko Hirose

He obtained first degree in physics from school of science and received master's degree in Applied Physics from faculty of engineering Nagoya University Japan.

He has been an engine engineer in TOYOTA Motor Corporation since 1981, specialized in Engine, Hybrid and Emission control technologies of vehicles.

'93 to '96 stationed at Brussels as a Toyota engine representative for Europe. From '96 he led emission and fuel consumption area of first Prius development for Japan, US and Europe. 

From 2000 he temporally moved to the JCAP promoting division of Japan Petroleum Energy Center (Government organization)as a senior researcher for the improvement of Japanese Air Quality and fuel quality.

From 2001 he returned to TOYOTA and worked as a planner for hybrid vehicle development and world deployment strategy. One of his work is "Hybrid Synergy Drive".

From end of 2003 after successfully launched 2nd generation Prius to US, Japan, Europe he moved to the new challenge fuel cell development.

He has been working on advanced fuel cell system development, advanced hydrogen storage technologies as well as hydrogen strategy, in 2012 he moved to corporate technology and strategy planning.

He is now responsible for hydrogen energy strategy and infrastructure development all over the world.

Currently a project general manager, for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell promotion group in R&D management div. of TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATIN Japan.

Andrew Jack - Covington & Burling
Andrew Jack - Partner

Andrew Jack chairs the firm's Clean Energy and Climate industry group and has a diverse corporate and securities practice with clients principally in the solar, advanced vehicles, industrial manufacturing, and sports and entertainment industries. He is ranked as a leading corporate lawyer by Chambers USA and he regularly advises corporations, board committees, and other forms of enterprises in mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, financing activities, Sarbanes-Oxley and 1934 Act compliance, corporate governance counseling, and executive compensation arrangements.

Mr. Jack is a frequent speaker at clean energy conferences and he works closely as the firm's membership liaison to SEIA and ACORE on a variety of matters to advance opportunities in clean energy, including as a founding member of the planning committee for SEIA's Solar Finance Conferences and as a co-chair of ACORE's Transportation Advisory Committee.    

Seth Grae - Lightbridge
Seth Grae - CEO

Mr. Grae has led the strategic direction and financing efforts of Lightbridge since its founding, including taking the company public. During his tenure, Lightbridge has evolved into a leader in developing advanced nuclear fuel technologies and in providing advisory services to developing and existing nuclear energy programs seeking to meet the highest international standards of safety, non-proliferation, and transparency. He leads Lightbridge’s efforts to develop and deploy advanced nuclear reactor fuel that will result in more electricity being provided from existing and new reactors, as well as enhanced safety, to allow nuclear power to compete and grow internationally as a non-emitting source of base load electricity. Lightbridge also advises governments of countries seeking to start nuclear power programs from feasibility studies through procurement and operations. Lightbridge’s first major international engagement was to develop the strategic plan—the Roadmap for Success—for commercial nuclear energy for the United Arab Emirates, and Mr. Grae and his family lived in Abu Dhabi during the procurement process for the initial four reactors. Lightbridge is engaged by domestic and overseas governmental entities on critically important civil nuclear advisory matters. Prior to Lightbridge, he worked as a corporate attorney in New York. Mr. Grae is invited to guest lecture at universities and is an invited speaker at conferences on energy, nuclear power, and the environment.

Mr. Grae is a member of the Civil Nuclear Trade Advisory Committee (CINTAC) to the U.S. Secretary of Commerce and is a member of the Nuclear Energy Institute’s Suppliers Advisory Committee. He is also a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council at the Washington College of Law at American University. He has served as Vice Chair of the Governing Board of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Lawyers Alliance for World Security, and as Co-chair of the American Bar Association’s Committee on Arms Control & Disarmament.

Mr. Grae earned a B.A. (cum laude) from Brandeis University; an M.B.A. and an L.L.M. in international law (with honors) from Georgetown University; and a J.D. from American University.

Chua Wei Chuen - Singapore Economic Development Board
Chua Wei Chuen - Regional Vice President, Europe

Mr Chua Wei Chuen is the Regional Vice President, Europe, at the Singapore Economic Development Board. In this role, he oversees EDB’s operations in Europe and leads the team in advancing Singapore’s business engagements with European- based companies across a wide range of industries.

He was previously Head of Transport Engineering at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). As Head of Transport Engineering, he charted and oversaw the development and growth of the Aerospace industry in Singapore.

Prior to joining EDB in 2012, he was a Naval Engineering Officer at the Republic of Singapore Navy, and was responsible for designing and establishing procurement, engineering & logistics support plans for naval platforms.

He received a Masters of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (1st Class Honours) from Imperial College London.

Professor Rajkumar Roy - Cranfield University
Professor Rajkumar Roy - Director of Manufacturing

Professor Rajkumar Roy is the Professor of Competitive Design and the Director of Manufacturing. He is also the Directors of the Through-life Engineering Services Centre and Operations Excellence Institute at Cranfield University. He has over 22 years of academic and industrial experience in manufacturing research and education.

His research interest includes through-life engineering services, cost engineering, product-service systems, design optimisation and applied soft computing and has published research papers in over 185 conferences and journals. His research sponsors include BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce, UK MoD, Tata Steel Europe, Airbus, GE Aviation, Lockheed Martin, BOC Edwards, Nissan, Bentley Motor Company and Ford Motor Company. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the International Academy for Production Engineers (CIRP), Institution of Engineering Designers (IED), Association of Cost Engineers (ACostE), The Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport (CILT) and the Higher Education Academy (HEA).

Currently Professor Roy is serving on the IET Manufacturing Policy Panel and the Through-life Engineering Services Strategy Board of Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI). He is the founder of the annual National Manufacturing Debate at Cranfield and The Manufacturing Co-operative.
